Born in Latvia, he studied at the National State Academy of Riga. In 2009, he earned a scholarship to attend the Russian Ballet College in Genoa, graduating with top honors in 2013. He has received prestigious awards including the Positano Prize "Leonide Massine" and the MAB Milano Prize. He has performed leading roles in renowned ballet productions worldwide, including at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and Teatro alla Scala. Notable performances include roles in Giselle, Excelsior, Romeo and Juliet, and Le Corsaire. He has been recognized with awards such as the Danza & Danza performer of the year. In 2020, he was named "dancer of the year on the international scene" by "Positano premia la danza Léonide Massine". He has also appeared as a guest artist at the Royal Ballet. Notable recent performances include leading roles in The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, and Sylvia. He continues to captivate audiences with his exceptional talent and artistry in ballet.
