MARIA KOCHETKOVA

Maria Kochetkova, born in Moscow, trained at the Bolshoi Ballet School and won the Prix de Lausanne 2002 Prize before joining the Royal Ballet as an apprentice. She spent over a decade as Principal Dancer with the San Francisco Ballet before transitioning to freelance work in 2018. Kochetkova has performed globally as a guest artist with esteemed companies including American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theaters, and Teatro alla Scala. Her repertoire includes iconic roles like Aurora in "The Sleeping Beauty" and Odette/Odile in "Swan Lake". In addition to her ballet career, she has curated and produced solo projects, collaborating with renowned choreographers. Kochetkova's versatility and talent have earned her numerous awards, including the Benois de la Danse and Isadora Duncan Dance Award. She's also been featured in fashion campaigns and music videos, showcasing her multifaceted artistic prowess.
