DANIIL SIMKIN

Born in Novosibirsk, Russia, Daniil Simkin is a ballet dancer and entrepreneur renowned for his technical skill and stage presence. Inspired by ballet icons like Mikhail Baryshnikov and Rudolf Nureyev, he melds their influences with his father's work ethic. Training under his mother, Olga Aleksandrova, Simkin balanced academic studies with ballet training in Wiesbaden, Germany. His career soared after winning the Senior Gold Medal at the 2006 USA International Ballet Competition.

Joining the American Ballet Theatre in 2008, he quickly ascended to principal dancer status in 2012, showcasing his versatility in classical and contemporary repertoire. In 2018, he expanded his horizons by joining the Staatsballett Berlin and as of 2023 the international stages as a Principal Guest Artist. 

Simkin's impact extends beyond performance; he shares his expertise through collaborations like Dance-Masterclass. His contributions continue to shape and elevate the world of ballet on both traditional and digital platforms.
